Over the coming days, Milan - Italian and international fashion capital - will be buzzing again with the opening of WHITE, the salon dedicated to womenswear and accessories with a contemporary feel. The stage is set for a wealth of new trends and previews for the spring-summer 2019 season, where Xacus’ women’s shirts are all about a brand new style: Xacus Elements, a new take on tailored shirts, applied to different garments.
Xacus Elements will be available from 2019, and the collection is an extension of the women’s shirt range, with a contemporary style across the board, embracing new ideas in womenswear. Jersey is what ties together this new collection, a noble, versatile fabric, much loved by Coco Chanel, and used to create items with original style, and basic chic, but still with a modern, sporty touch.
Xacus Elements for women mix together different materials and take their inspiration from the concept of “sports chic” to create authentic, fluid and lightweight garments to wear close to the skin and at the same time, be practical, functional items that you can just throw into your suitcase. For this collection, Xacus has devised five different fashioned knitwear pieces, mixed with classic women’s shirt fabrics: from the cardigan that “concludes” the layered look, to the new tricot and poplin t-shirt. And to this we can add five more pieces in jersey and fleece: an original “polo”, designed for timeless elegance, and four fleece pieces decorated with exclusive edge-to-edge prints, like the piquet shirt that blends cotton silk voile with sheer checks, and a polo dress.
Xacus Elements is a cross-style collection mixing the typical fashioned knitwear style with shirt fabrics to create fashions with a contemporary classic feel.
