June: time for trends, time for Pitti! Last month Florence, the ultimate art city hosted the 94th edition of the most important event in men’s fashions. A crossroads when it comes to new products and new ideas for next year’s spring-summer season. Once again, the spotlight at this important annual event also fell on Xacus’ men’s shirts, with their outstanding bright colours and original tropical prints. Stylish, trendy and so good looking, these were the shirts picked up on by the most influential fashion magazines. Let’s see who was talking about Xacus!
The press articles for June open with an interesting Pitti Special in La Repubblica, dedicated to clothes so comfy as to fit like a second skin. And as well as looking at jackets and trousers, they also focused on Xacus’ Hawaiian- and bowling-style men’s shirts. The shirts in this capsule collection were also selected by Icon short sleeves, Cuban collar, and tropical prints with palms and exotic flowers are on everyone’s lips as the “must-have” recommended by this magazine in its “What to Pack for the Weekend in Summer 2019”.
The floral prints from Xacus’ limited edition Heritage line of men’s shirts are the focus of the Men’s Fashions 2019 special in Style Magazine – Corriere della Sera. And what makes them so super cool? A mood inspired by those hot American summers of the 60s and 70s. “Movie star” shirts is how style and fashion magazine, Esquire referred to them in an article dedicated to the 5 most interesting designs seen at Pitti Uomo. All eyes, then were on this new collection of men’s shirts for summer, where attention to detail and a style with an extremely vintage flair and post-war movie flavour are what it’s all about.
